The Books were ready to balance when this balance sheet was taken, and the Proctors Accot settled—but to give as Complete a view of the standing of the University as practicable, before the Books were closed: settlements of the claims as far as possible—and the accounts for Hardware Labour &c apportioned to the buildings was directed: after which the result is as ⅌ Balance Sheet under date 25th November 1822—& the Books are balanced accordingly.
