Orders

Parole: Monmouth.

Winchester. Thursday, January 1st 1756.

Three days provisions to be delivered to the Troops tomorrow at twelve o’clock.

Captain Stewart is to give orders to have a Sentry over the Forage, to prevent any waste: and a moderate allowance be given out every morning, and no more. Captain Stewart is to visit his Guard twice a-week; to see that these orders are duly executed.
