Hull’s tavern, run by Robert Hull, was located “in the Broadway” (N.Y. Gazette & Weekly Mercury, 8 Nov. 1773). In 1774, according to John Adams, Hull’s tavern was at “the Sign [of] the Bunch of Grapes” (, 2:102).
