Washington City Feb 5th. 1824.

Col Taylor having put at Mr Garnett’s disposal, several copies of his “New Views of the Constitution,”1 Mr G. takes the liberty to present one of them to Mr Madison, whom he begs to accept the assurances of his unfeigned esteem and respect.
