To the Senate
Decr. 10th. 1816.
I lay before the Senate for their consideration & advice, as to a ratification Treaties concluded with the Several Indian Tribes according to the following Statement.
List of Indian Tribes with whom treaties have been made since the last Session of Congress viz.

For the treaties and accompanying correspondence (120 pp.), see , Indian Affairs, 2:91–123. JM proclaimed these treaties to be in effect on 30 Dec. 1816, and the proclamations were published in the 16 and 18 Jan. 1817 issues of the Daily National Intelligencer. The names of the Indian signatories to the treaties were omitted from , Indian Affairs but were printed in the published proclamations.
