§ Approval of Samuel Brown’s Account. 10 July 1806, Department of State. “The within account is justly Stated and may be paid out of the Barbary Appropriations.”

RC (DNA: RG 217, First Auditor’s Accounts, no. 18,369). 1 p.; in Wagner’s hand, signed by JM. Written on the verso of Brown’s 21 Dec. 1805 account totaling $222.27 “for the Reception & Shipping of Ordnance and Merchandize to Kennebeck, for the purpose of being forwarded from thence to Algiers, agreeably to the request of the Letter of Jacob Wagner under date the 9th. August. 1805.”
