12 November 1804, Department of State. “I have received your several letters dated 16th. 23d. & 25th. Septr., two of the 21st. of the same, also those dated 3d. 5th. & 8th. of October last.” [The remainder of the letter is nearly identical to JM to Cato West, 12 Nov. 1804.]
