I thought (too hastily) that the desperate debt [had?] alr[e]ady b[een?]

taken off from the 2940. 30½. but as by your [. . .]
Thomas’s report 932. 25 of that is sperate, I c[. . .]
the balance 2008. 05½ taken from the su[m?]
it leaves 21,815. 92½ applicable to the R[otunda]
instead of 23,823. 98 and makes the whole sum
a[ppli]cable 41,186.33.

The inclosed papers should be filed wit[h] [Brockenbrough.?] he will ha[ve] the disposal & superintendance of the Hote[ls] [. . .] the Visitors will not intermeddle. friendly salu[tations]
