In a 15 July 1819 letter to Laval, TJ “wrote to him for Gael’s Aeschylus. Gr. & Fr. 2. v. 8vo” (FC in DLC; brief summary in TJ’s hand written on a small scrap; with fragmentary and incomplete PoC of TJ to Brockenbrough, 2 July 1819, on verso).
