Agreeably to your request I have consulted my colleague and the Representatives respecting recommending two persons to be Commissioners of Bankruptcy we have concluded to recommend Robert Walker and George Watkins of Augusta

my colleague: Senator James Jackson. Peter Early and David Meriwether were Georgia’s representatives (). Robert Walker and George Watkins received appointments as commissioners of bankruptcy on 1 Mch. (list of commissions in Lb in DNA: RG 59, MPTPC; Vol. 37:706, 707n, 711; Appendix I: List of Appointments).
