Paris Oct. 6. 1787.
Mr. Jefferson has the honour of presenting his compliments to Monsieur Dupont le fils, and begs the favor of him to deliver the inclosed letter personally, to it’s address, as he would wish to make Monsieur Dupont acquainted with this gentleman whom he will find an agreeable and useful acquaintance.
