Mr. Jefferson’s compliments to Mr. Rusten and begs the honor of his company to dinner on Tuesday next the 19th instant.

According to Ruston’s diary, he dined with TJ on 19 Apr., at which time they discussed Great Britain’s trade policy (DLC: Ruston Papers).
