To Thomas Jefferson from Madame de Doradour, [11? May 1785]
From Madame de Doradour
[11? May 1785]
Mde.
RC (MHi). Date is conjectured on the ground that TJ may have informed Madame de Doradour that he would bring to her the packet of letters written on 11 May that he expected to entrust to her husband. This is one of a group of five notes from Madame Doradour which are undated and accompanied by three leaves bearing addresses to TJ.
