Hood’s, 2 Apr. 1781. Wishes to know whether he and his men are to be relieved; their “Tower of duty” expires on 9 Apr.; “their is But very Little use for us at this place”; and the carpenters now at work on the fortifications here are in immediate want of the barracks.
