George Washington to the Board of War
Morristown [New Jersey] February 26, 1780. Disapproves of court-martial authorized by the Board of War. Sends authorization for new hearing. Suggests that the judge advocate be more “explicit and particular in designating the circumstances of the crime and of the evidence.”
