<Tom’s C. H.6 April 13, 1772: Returns a book together with Winthrop’s letter,7 which he has ordered sent to Franklin. Is leaving town today and will not see him again until next winter unless, as Michell hopes, Franklin visits Yorkshire during the summer. If instead he leaves for America, wishes him a pleasant and prosperous voyage and happiness in his native country.>
