To Elizabeth Powel

[Philadelphia] Monday Morng [23 July 1787]

Genl Washington presents his respectful Compliments to Mrs Powell and will do himself the honor of calling upon her at, or before 5 oclock (in his Carriage) in hopes of the pleasure of conducting her to Lansdown this Evening.1
