From Thomas Jefferson to George Hammond, 26 June 1793
To George Hammond
June 26. 93.
Th: Jefferson presents his compliments to Mr. Hammond and would be glad to be informed if there is any other testimony than that he sent him relative to the place of capture of the Ship William? He has heard that some one saw it from the shore whose testimony might be had. It is desireable that all the evidence possible should be produced.
