Norfolk [Virginia] August 6, 1790. “Your Letter of the 25th Ult. I received this day.…2 I employ’d the surveyor chain Carriers &c & shall furnish him with an acct thereof & transmit a plat of the two acres’s survey of the Cape3 as soon as the surveyor supplies me therewith to you.”
