[Williamsburg] 5 Feb. 1780. Requests advice for the disposition of six Negroes purchased for the state.

TJ’s reply has not been located, but the following minute appears in the Board’s Journal under the same date: “The Executive recommending the six Negroes, mentioned above, to be employed in the Armourer’s Shop, Ordered that the Agent deliver them to Mr. James Anderson Superintendant of said shop.”
