I have not got any Quarters as yet, and if you have not moved when You receive this—you will remain at Morris Town till You hear from me.1 Be perfectly ready however to move on notice. I am Dr sir Yr Most Obedt St

LS, in Robert Hanson Harrison’s writing, PWacD, Sol Feinstone Collection, on deposit at PPAmP. The addressee has been lost with the missing bottom third of the manuscript. Gibbs has been identified as the receiver because the largely intact docket is in his writing.

1GW did not take up quarters at Rockaway Bridge because the army soon marched again (see Battle of Springfield, 23–24 June, editorial note).
