25 October 1810, Norfolk. The firm has received JM’s letter of 14 Oct. and has shipped one hogshead of old Madeira wine to Fredericksburg. Requests JM to pay the charges, amounting to $192.25, with a draft from the Washington branch of the Bank of the United States.

RC and enclosure (DLC). RC 2 pp.; docketed by JM. Enclosure (1 p.) is a receipt from John Cooper, 24 Oct. 1810, for the wine he is to deliver to Fredericksburg.
