(2) Exequatur for Citizen Pennevert as French vice-consul at New London, 24 Dec. 1793 (Trs in same, Exequaturs; in a clerk’s hand, with George Washington as signatory and TJ as countersignatory). (3) Enclosures listed at Genet to TJ, 21 Dec. 1793 (second letter).

A letter of 26 Dec. 1793 from Genet to TJ acknowledging receipt of the enclosed exequaturs, recorded in SJL as received on the same day, has not been found.
