From George Muter

War Office [Richmond], 12 Feb. 1781. Mr. John Henderson, from Albemarle, is with Muter and offers to rent to the public a sawmill he has charge of that is erected on [John] Harvie’s land, or he “will furnish plank at the point of fork” at reasonable prices. Transportation from the mill to Point of Fork is five miles by land and thirty by water. Muter desires instructions.
