[Philadelphia, May 15, 1791. On May 5, 1796, Neufville wrote to John Davis:2 “The Secretary of the Treasury advised me under date of 15. May 1791. that on enquiry at the war office it was found that the Secretary of that Department had not been able to transmit the requisite certified roll of the Invalids for want of Information from South Carolina.” Letter not found.]
