Dear Brother
Your Commissioner or Agent Mr. Quincey has done Wonders here.2 He has executed his Commission extreamly well, and obtained yesterday a Vote for £10,000 in Provisions for your New England Forces, which will be rendered effectual without the Necessity of the Governor’s Assent to a Law for the purpose.3
Govr. Shirley is not yet come, but daily expected.4

James DeLancey of New York, and several others, arrived in Philadelphia, April 8; and next day, with Governor Morris of Pennsylvania, set out via Annapolis to confer with General Braddock at Alexandria, Va. Pa. Gaz., April. 10, 1755.
