According to his financial records, TJ paid Edward Frethy, his barber, $3.75 on 3 June. Frethy also submitted to TJ for payment an invoice dated 30 June for “one months shaving” for $5 (MS in same; in Frethy’s hand and signed by him; endorsed by TJ). On 6 Nov.
