Treasury Department, Revenue Office, August 12, 1794. “Mr. Coxe … will be glad to have the remittance of 5000 Dolls. transmitted to each of the Naval agents, who have not had that sum. Mr. Blagge2 of N York & Messr. Sterret3 of Baltimore have applied so lately as this day & yesterday for a payment on account. Mr. Coxe’s reply to the Secrys enquiry4 was sent the 2d instant.”
