Mrs. Jay present her Compts. to Mr. Franklin & takes the liberty of requesting him to write a few lines to Mr. Le Noir, desiring permission for Abbe to quit the place of Confinement where she now is immediately, as is very ill & extremely desirous to return & Mrs. Jay fears a delay may be dangerous— If Mr. Franklin has leisure at present to write the Servant will wait for the letter in order to carry it to the Lieutenant de Police.—1 Mrs. Jay flatters herself that nothing has intervened to prevent Mr. Franklin & his Grand father & Cousin from honoring her wth. their Company this Eveng.
