[Oct. 17, 1770. Is going on a long journey and wants Franklin to pay the balance due from five years’ ground rent of property in Pewter Platter Alley.1 The total rent was £101 5s., of which Franklin had paid £60 in 1769, leaving £41 5s. due.]
