20. Left Williamsburg on my return home. Dined at Colo. Bassetts & stayd the rest of the day there.

GW paid two accounts before leaving town: £6 15s. to Mrs. Campbell for his board and lodging and £2 6s. to the barber George Lafong for dressing his hair. He also lent £5 in cash to a friend, Robert Rutherford, burgess from Frederick County in the past session (General Ledger A description begins General Ledger A, 1750–1772.
