Wm. Duane’s respects—No copies of the Country Aurora have ever been reserved, and only ten of the daily paper; if the Daily Aurora will be acceptable, it will be to be ordered1 from Philadelphia, as none of 1801. are yet bound. No map of Maryland is to be had here. I have ordered two different copies from Philadelphia, which if they should not be acceptable or either of them, can be kept here for sale, they being in demand.

COUNTRY AURORA: a tri-weekly edition of the Aurorahad been printed since the 1790s. Beginning in November 1800, the edition was published under the title Aurora, for the Country (Brigham, American Newspapers description begins Clarence S. Brigham, History and Bibliography of American Newspapers, 1690–1820, Worcester, Mass., 1947, 2 vols. description ends , 2:892).
