Highlands June 27th 1780

Dear Sir

Your Excellency’s directions shall you may depend be particularly attended to.

The letter from the Honble Board of War I have received, I have anticipated by the measures I have taken, almost every part of the Instructions with which they have Honored me, and shall certainly fulfil the rest. I have not a moment to add more than that I am my Dear Sir, with the greatest Respect and affection Yr Excelleny’s Most Obt Sert
