I had the honor to receive Your favors of 5th. And replyed thereto on the 11th Addressed to You at Philadelphia And beg leave to refer You to the contents.
But as You was uncertain of the time that You would leave that City. In Obedience to Your Orders have Adressed this to You as desired (not doubting of the other being in Your hands before now) informing that I will wait on You at Mount Vernon when You please to Advise, And hope You will think will of doing this by the first Opportunity, being now time that I might know, how to conduct myself, in case You should not employ me And with great respect I have the honor to be Sir Your most Obedt Humble Servt
