General and Mrs Washington present their Compliments to Mrs Fairfax and family and request the favour of their Company at dinner with the newly married couple on Wednesday next.1

The Diaries of George Washington. 6 vols. Charlottesville, Va., 1976–79. description ends , 6:336). The Washingtons entertained on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights, 25, 26, and 27 Feb.(ibid.).
