[Officers] Of the Day Tomorrow[:] Colonel Meigs[,] Lieutenant Colonel Murray. Brigade Major 2d Connecticut1

For manœuvring Lieutenant Colonels Commandant Butler and Hubley; Majors Trescott and Parr; Two Adjutants from the Connecticut Division; Colours as before;2 Brigade Major from Clinton’s brigade3 to attend the Formation of the Manœuvring Battalions Tomorrow Morning Six o’Clock.4

GW’s expenses for this date included £1.2.6 “To cash pd Doctr Canfield [Campfield’s] servant [for] bringg asparagras a present” (Revolutionary War Journal of Household Expenses, 1776–1780, DLC:GW, ser. 5).
