Parole Medfield— C. Signs Newbury. Old-York.

The commanding officers of regiments will send to the Clothier at New-Burgh for their proportions of clothing upon returns made according to the mode established.1

Lieutenant Robert Peebles of the 7th Pennsylvania regiment is appointed Quarter Master to the same from the 1st of June last, vice—Ensign Hughes, promoted.2

2Robert Peebles (1741–c.1813), of Shippensburg, Pa., joined the 7th Pennsylvania Regiment as a second lieutenant in April 1777 and became a first lieutenant in April 1779. He transferred to the 4th Pennsylvania Regiment in January 1781 and to the 3d Pennsylvania Regiment in January 1783. Peebles left the army in November 1783.
