A Flag will soon go to the Enemies Lines, those Persons who have any things to send to our Prisoners there must have them at the Commissary Genl of Prisoner’s Quarters by next saturday afternoon.

Brig. Gen. Edward Hand’s orderly book includes an order for a “Detail for Fatigue” of 598 men “To be on the Grand Parade Tomorrow Morn’g precisely at ½ past Seven oClock—Colo. Richard Butler Lt Colo. sprout & Major Hull are appointed to the Command of this party” (DNA: RG 93, Orderly Books, 1775–1783, vol. 20).
