From Major General Artemas Ward

Boston, 12 May 1776. “The Bearer has this moment arrived with some accounts from England, I have directed the Asst Q. M. Genl to furnish him with a Horse and money to carry him to New York, which Horse he is to deliver to the Q. M. Genl at New York.”1
