Tuesday 21st. Mercury at 82 in the Morning—86 at Noon And 88 at Night.

Little or no Wind but extremely Sultry.

Mr. Ballendine came here abt. 5 Oclock in the Afternoon and my Brother returned from Alexandria abt. 8 Oclock.
