2. At home all day. Mr. Wm. Waite dind here.

William Waite (died c.1787), of Fauquier County, was a stonemason who owned his own quarry. On this day GW made his first payment to Waite for an order of over 700 feet of stone (General Ledger B description begins General Ledger B, 1772–1793.
