[Diary entry: 1 March 1771]

Mar. 1. Messrs. Ross and Wagener went away after breakfast. I rid to my Mill and Ditchers in the forenoon. In the Afternoon Doctr. Craik came.

Hector Ross today settled his current account with GW, paying him £89 9s. 5d. cash, much of which was owed as a result of an arrangement made at John Posey’s sale in Oct. 1769 (General Ledger A description begins General Ledger A, 1750–1772.
