Dear Sir.

The horse you got of me, is too valuable to put to the Plough or Waggon. And too unsafe for your Carriage, I would therefore recommend you swapping him away Which can be done to advantage at the Court House You ought to get 2 good plough horses for him—

I shall leave this in the morning for Freds’brg—With sentiments of great respect for yourself and Mrs Madison–to Whose Kindness I feel so much indebted—I remain Dear Sir yr mo obliged humble Servt
