Albany 30th. April 1806.


⟨Fin⟩ding by the act of appropriation, that ⟨nine⟩ hundred & ninety Dollars has been appropri⟨ated⟩ for stationary, and other expences, for ⟨the⟩ Territory of Michigan, and having received ⟨only⟩ five hundred & twenty five Dollars, I have ⟨dra⟩wn on you, in favor of Genl. Gansevort, ⟨who⟩ has advanced me the Money, for the ⟨ba⟩lance, which is $365. What has before ⟨been⟩ advanced, and the necessary articles, which ⟨I s⟩hall procure here, will require the ⟨w⟩hole sum. I am your most obedt. Servt.
