29 April 1813, Nashville. “In complyance with a request of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, I have the honor to transmit to you the inclosed Address and resolutions, copied from the Journals, at a late session of that body.1

“The War is just—a vigorous prosecution of it, until an honorable Peace can be obtained, is necessary.”
