RC 2 pp. JM forwarded the RC, listing appointments from Pennsylvania, North Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, South Carolina, Vermont, Maryland, Massachusetts, Tennessee, New York, and Kentucky, in a message to the Senate on the same day (Senate Exec. Proceedings description begins Journal of the Executive Proceedings of the Senate of the United States of America (3 vols.; Washington, 1828). description ends , 2:269–70).
