Appended to a 28 November 1806 statement addressed to the Department of State: “To publishing in the Candid Review, printed in Staunton, Virginia, 163 pages Octavo of the Laws of the United States passed at the first session of the ninth Congress at 50 cents per page. $18.50.” Pleasonton certified the account on 13 December 1806.
