14 January 1805, “Committee Room.” Requests information on the following inquiry: “What are the several descriptions of claims, the evidences of which have been exhibited and recorded in the Office of State, under the eighth section of the act of Congress, of 3d. March 1803, relative to the lands ‘south of the State of Tennessee?[‘]”1
