30 November 1804, Philadelphia. “I have received by the Ship Hindostan from Cadiz1 from Joseph Ysnardi Esqr. One Barrel Wine marked M. which he desires me to hold subject to your disposal.

“I have duely entered it at the Custom House and wait your orders in what manner to send it to you.”

1. The Hindostan, Capt. John McFarlane, with a load of salt for William Crammond, arrived in Philadelphia in fifty days from Cádiz (United States’ Gazette, 3 Dec. 1804).
