15 August 1804, Georgetown. “When in Philadelphia about the first of this month I had committed to my care for you, (with the enclosed letter)1 two Views Louisiana and New Orleans, they are now here in my Store packed up in a Case with Several others ready to be delivered whenever conveniant for you to send a careful person for them.”
